Tao Te Ching

High winds do not blow all morning;
Heavy rain does not fall all day.
Are not these made by heaven and earth?
If the power of heaven and earth
Cannot make violent activity last, How can you?

Tigger

A large tiger was swaggering through the forest. Above his head, a small bird danced from branch to branch, singing. The tiger stopped and watched him. Then he called out:
"What do you have to dance and sing about, you puny being?
I am a thousand times larger than you. I can crush you in one paw, without even trying!
"Can you do this?" replied the bird, hopping lightly from one branch to another.
"Of course I can! roared the tiger. "Anything
you can do, I can do better!" He leaped onto the trunk, climbed high into the tree, then jumped out onto a branch. With a loud crack, it broke beneath his weight. So did the branches below it, all the way down. Ever so slowly, the bruises, rumpled tiger rose to his feet and staggered away.

Eeyore

Eeyore, a very gloomy, blue-gray donkey, is stuffed with sawdust. Despite this, Eeyore is a very intelligent animal, although he keeps most of his knowledge to himself. That's why he is very quiet most of the time and a bit depressed.

Eeyore lives at the 100 Acre Wood Southeast, in his 'Gloomy Place'. His favourite food is thistles. Eeyore loves being remembered on his birthday and hates being bounced.

Eeyore biggest problem is that his tail keeps coming off (he has lost it many times). His other concern is that his house keeps falling down (he has to rebuild it again, and again, and again.....).

Breathing - ecos de yoga

Houses and rooms are full of perfumes, the shelves are crowded with perfumes,
I breathe the fragrance myself and know it and like it,
The distillation would intoxicate me also, but I shall not let it.

The atmosphere is not a perfume it has no taste of the distillation, it is odorless,
It is for my mouth forever, I am in love with it,
I will go to the bank by the wood and become undisguised and naked,
I am mad for it to be in contact with me.

The smoke of my own breath, Echoes, ripples, buzzd´d whispers,
love-root, silk-thread, crotch and vine,
My respiration and inspiration, the beating of my heart, the passing of blood and air through my lungs,
The sniff of green leaves and dry leaves, and of the shore and dark-color'd sea-rocks, and of hay in the barn,

The sound of the belch'd words of my voice loos'd to the eddies of the wind,
A few light kisses, a few embraces, a reaching around of arms,
The play of shine and shade on the trees as the supple boughs wag,
The delight alone or in the rush of the streets, or along the fields and hill-sides,
The feeling of health, the full-noon trill, the song of me rising from bed and meeting the sun.

One touch of Venus

Tell me, is love just a popular suggestion,
or merely an obsolete art?
Forgive me for asking this simple question,
I´m unfamiliar with his heart,
I am a stranger here myself.

The threepenny Opera

Tonight you will see an opera for beggars: because this opera was conceived with a splendour of wich only beggars can dream, yet had to be so cheap that beggars could afford it. Its title is "The threepenny Opera".
